I have a a BIG problem. Every time I click on the start menu or attempt tp open IE, I recieve this irrating message about the "Xupiter toolbar was not properly installed. Please reinstall it." I have no idea where this came from or what Xupiter is. I have found out that there is a website called xupiter.com which appears to be a search/sale tool. I have a feeling my son or father went to this website and tried to download something. I have found the directory on my hard drive c:/program files/xupiter however I can't find an unistaller. How do I get rid of this?

Folks, I have some bad news for you- Ad-Aware does not prevent Xupiter-yet. I am certain that the crew at LavaSoft will get on it just as soon as we yell enough about Xupiter, so don't depair. Ad Aware is There! Best in the West!

Ad-ware will remove this Xupiter for you but you will need to update the ad-ware signature file... this file should be dated september 24, 02. Goto the same place where you download ad-ware to get this update.
xupiter is quite new and the thing is not listed in the previous versions of the ad-ware definitions.
