XP/Ubuntu boot menu doesn't appear at bootup

Specs: WIndows XP Home SP3
Hello guys,

Here is my problem

I Currently have two operating systems on HD. Windows XP ( Home SP3) on C drive and Linux (Ubuntu Ultimate Edition). I had a problem with windows xp so I repaired it using the installation CD. Now the operating system choice menu (from which I could choose which OS to use) does not appear during boot up and I am going straight to Windows XP.

I would like to get this menu back.

Also, it would be useful if you could tell me how to solve this issue in both operating systems.

Thanks in advance.

You need to re-install grub if you want. Can do it from MS's too. Plenty of web pages on both. Grub tends to be the linux solution but if you want MS you may have to add in a boot loader like lilo to linux.
