XP/Philips 400 External Burner - Driver?

I am trying to help my cousin. We installed XP Pro and everything runs fine as wine.
When we tried to install his external USB Philips 400 series CD Burner and it will not work using the drivers provided. It worked fine under ME of course.
We have searched the Philip's site with no luck. Can you PLEASE help?
