Comment:

When I visit certain websites I get run time errors. Not all the time, but enough to be a real bother.

The message will tell me, " A run time error has occured. Do you wish to debug?" It will then give me the line number and a brief description of the problem. The description is usually something like Syntax Error, Missing ';', Null or Invalid Object. It looks like some sort of programming issue, but I'm not a programmer so I don't know what to do. When I press OK to Debug I am taken to Microsoft's Script Editor.

I don't know what to do here, I've tried uninstalling IE, but I don't think that really does anything. If I uninstall then reboot, IE is right back out there...thanks Bill.

Does anyone have any ideas here?

Thanks in advance,
Mick

Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools--->Internet Options. Once there click on the Advanced Tab. Under the Browsing Section check "Disable script debugging" and uncheck "Display a notification about every script error". HTH.
