Greetings!
Has anyone had any luck getting a EZquest Boa Firewire DVD burner to work in XP? I originally bought the burner for a Mac but want to also use it on my PC.
Is this drive only menat for Macs or something crazy like that. The burner is over 1 year old (firmware not up to date??)

Yeah I've been all over their page and it should work but it don't. It's an older version so their might be some firmware problems ... can't find a firewire driver for it anywhere (including the www.ezq.com)
Thanks for the help, though ...
Still waiting for tech support to get back to me but I have this feeling I'm on my own...

Hi Seeing that it is xp compatible, it should work.Have you tried turning pc off, connecting it, then start pc, let windows find new hardware and install it.

Yup, tried it about 10 times ... I'm using Roxio Videowave 5 ... is there a way to tell if XP actually knows it's there? Maybe Videowave just doesn't see it (nor does Sonic MyDVD which I also tried)???
