I was wondering if anyone could help me. my computer won't start windows xp home edition anymore. when I turn on my computer, it goes to the error page where I have options of running windows normally, from the last know good script, or various types of safe modes. well if I use any non safe startup, then it will start turning windows, but then after that it goes blank and freezes with a black screen. then if I go through any safemodes, then it will start running the program stuff and all, but then after so many it stops and freezes so have to turn it off again. so either way I go it freeses. I don't know what is wrong or how to fix it. I don't want to try and reboot just yet, because there is valuable stuff I don't want to lose, and I don't habe backups. so I don't know what to do if anyone can help me with it. I would be sooo greatfull. thank you.
