XP wont install completely...

XP will not install completely on my machine is starts to install...gets about half way through and then i get blue screens during installation...something about 0x00000008E why is this happening?
driver failure possibly?, try resetting your bios to defaults, then disable any cache/shadowing options and try again.

Are you sure your motherboard/processor supports WindowsXP? Some older models don't and could give you errors like that. Visit your motherboard manufacturer's website, and flash your bios to the latest update.

What spec is you PC? Check if your Hardware is compatible with XP. Try to install in Standard PC mode. Press F5 when booting to install XP, select Standard PC continue with installation.
