XP won't burn 700mb cd's

Several months ago I purchased some 700mb / 80min writeable CD's. Burned several successfully with no problems (Have a Toshiba sd-r 2212). I did not install the SP1 service pack or anytype of burning software other than the Drag'n Drop software I had used before to burn successfully.
Now the cd burner will not recognize the blank 700mb cd (will read ones that I've already burnt before) but will with a 650mb cd. Any idea of what could have changed in the system to make this happen?

That seems really strange. I've had and seen nothing but problems trying to burn CD's in XP. Personally, I'd reccommend that you get Roxio Easy CD Creator or a similar third-party program to burn cd's. It makes things a lot easier.
