Just the other day I was on the internet and a few programs started to run slowly, so I decided to restart my computer. Now Xp won't boot, I dont know how to boot in safe mode, i can't get to my C prompt and I get an error message that says: Previous attempt to boot hard drive failed (vici).
or something along those lines. Can someone please help me!?!?!?

When the load line actually shows up, it reaches about 3/4 of the way and then freezes. I've tried hitting F8 and nothing happens.
