Hello,
My Windows Explorer will not open (neither will my documents, my computer, my network...and others related to explorer). When I click on it, I get a message saying there win ex has encountered a problem and has to shut down. After this, the problem persists. I got a good tip on this problem from this site. The tip suggested the Syestem Resore Utility. Thanks Chuck. But I have to admit that I have no idea what or where that is. Can anyone provide more tips!

Ryan go to start menu> Help and support> make changes to computer with system restore. Choose a restore point prior to your existing problem. The restore dates that you can choose will be highlighted. Just follow the directions and you'll see it's a snap. Hope this helps. jw
