Every thing seems to be working fine, but Windows Xp never gets past the initial startup screen into windows. If i restart and go into the F8 mode i can start in Safe Mode and then windows comes up. I can't seem to find any problems with the drives or programs, under the Device Manager. I tried starting from a previous date, still i cannot go into the windows xp w/out safe mode. What can I do?

I have tried last known good configuration, still does not work. The computer was in perfect working order one monthe ago, then shipped via ups to NYC, and hasn't worked since. I'm hoping nothing went wrong there. Everything seems to be fine in Safe Mode. Just cannot get it to start normally. Is there a way of Starting in Safe Mode with command prompt and somehow reconfiguring? Something i can do in Safe Mode? Thanks

I would open the case and make sure all cards are plugged in well and the memory modules are also for one thing. Try unplugging the power cord from the wall and wait a few minutes and plug it back up and try again.

Yeah, everything seems fine on the inside. No loose connections or cards. Can't figure it out.

Bring up the RUN Box and enter MsConfig
If it isn't already - put it on Normal Startup
Other than that - can't help - sorry
