I have a Dell Dimension 4550 Tower with WinXP/Service Pack 1 and the problem I have with it is that it will not shutdown or I cannot switch users without manually shutting it down with the power button on the tower - this is with a user logged on - with no user logged on - I can shutdown the computer with the icons. Anyone that has experienced this - I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance.
