Hi,
I save all my personal wallpapers in the "my pictures" folder. All of my wallpapers use to show up in the "display properties" window where you can select from the entire list under the "background" tab.
But recently that is not happening. what ever wallpapers I am saving in my pictures folder are not there in the display properties window rather now it is showing the list from c:\winnt\web\wallpaper. Now i have to save my wallpapers in this location everytime which is difficult to navigate to.

I want the wallpapers list to be selected by default from my pictures folder. Can anyone help me.

Gopal Krishna

You can keep them in My Pictures - but - when you want to change your Wallpaper\Background then you must use the Browse Button next to the List and go to My Pictures to Select which you want - thereafter it will appear in the List

He can leave them in My Pics if he wants to - as long as he uses the Browse Button the first time he Selects one (from My Pics)

But all pictures saved in my pictures folder used to get automatically updated in the display properties list also without the need for using the browse button also. that is what I am saying. But it is not happening now. Now the list is getting updated from the windows\web\wallpaper folder instead. I am using XP SP2 if that would help.
