I am having a problem connecting an XP Professional Laptop to a 2000 AD network. Here are some problems: Slow Login, not being able to see the contents of a shared folder upon clicking it, but when I right click and map the drive, it works. Also, reconnect on startup does not work at all. Please forward any suggestions.

Slow logins are generally the result of dns name resolution problems. Check your server's dns records to make sure that one exists for the laptop.

I checked and it is the same as the 6 other machines on the network. I thought it might have something to do with the CA but it did not.
