I currently have windows millenium but was trying to upgrade to windows xp proffesional. It gets to the point were it's starting to load windows and then a blue screen appears with this error on it.
STOP: C0000221{bad image checksum} The image user 32.dll is possibly corrupt.

I get the same message. I bought a new HD and installed it on that. It worked fine. Then I tried to repair itwhen i was getting some e-mail problems and now i get the same messageas i did when i tried to upgrade from 2000.
