The infamous 811493 is B-A-A-C-K. Checked the windows update site and 811493 is listed as a critical update along with 815021. Maybe they got the slowdown problem of 811493 solved but will have to wait and see. I have learned through this forum never to immediately install new updates - wait a week or so. Yeah it is back but the slow system issue has not been correct.It originally came out as Critical, then went to Important and now back to Critical again.
Here's a newer web page on 811493 with an unsavory temporary fix, turn off AV monitoring.
