I previously have had problems with XP & Java. The Java screens superimpose themselves on each other. I solved the problem by re formatting, reloading & by not doing any updates (my version came with SP1). Everything is fine at the moment but I am now concerned that there may be an update that I really need. Is there a way of telling which updates are really necessary. I don't want to corrupt java again. I am sure a previous update caused me all the grief. Is there a microsoft email address I can contact? Any other ideas? Thanks
