Hello,
Can someone please tell me the correct syntax for searching entire drives and/or multiple drives for a particular file or directory at the command prompt? I need to find the UNDO folder, but cannot locate it.Thanks so much,
Kristina

From the COMMAND PROMPT...
I am trying to install Win XP Professional and keep
encountering the error:Error. Process user: Cannot copy default user hive
c:\documents and settings\default user\ntuser.dat. Error=32
(20h)
FailureInPrepareForMigration rc-32. Error=32(20h)
Error w95upgnt_migrate:migmain_migrate failed. Error=32
(20h)
Setup cannot upgrade some settings after Setup complete.
You may need to
reinstall one or more programs. (error=32 "20h")I have tried all three methods that microsoft suggests for
correcting this error:
http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?
scid=kb;en-us;Q315332I cannot complete the setup and I cannot revert back to my
old OS Win ME, and I do not have the option of quitting
the setup. Is there an option or flag that I can type
after the command prompt that will bypass this fatal error
when the XP installation is upgrading my program and
system settings? Or is there some way that I can revert
back to Win ME without losing any of my programs or data?
I have a lot of important data on this machine that I
cannot lose, so any help in this desperate situation would
be greatly appreciated. The reason I'm trying to find UNDO* via the Command Prompt is to abort the XP installation that keeps repeating the same Fatal Error and revert back to Win ME. However, if I could get the Win XP Pro installation to complete I'd be very happy. Right now, I'm in a frustrating state of limbo with no OS & only limited Command Prompt access to my Dell PC.
