I can not access my temp folder. I have tried to open through Documents and Settings, but it has no Local Settings folder for me to access the temp files. I also have tried to right click on the menu bar and open the address bar in My Computer but the address bar will not open. What can i do? I am trying to install norton antivirus but it will not let me because the temp folder is full and i am certain i have a worm. Help.

The Local Settings folder is a hidden folder.
Open C drive and select Tools/Folder Options/View tab and tick 'Show Hidden Files and folders'
Hope this helps

http://www.tweakxp.com/display.aspx?id=2021 Auto Delete Temporary Folder First go into gpedit.msc
Next select -> Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Terminal Services/Temporary Folder
Then right click "Do Not Delete Temp Folder Upon Exit"
Go to properties and hit disable.
Now next time Windows puts a temp file in that folder it will automatically delete it when its done!

The temp folder you are looking for may be in another place: e.g., c:\windows\temp. XP seems to put the active temp folder in various places. Be sure, as above, to show hidden files and folders. My temp folder is in Windows, but my temporary internet files is under local settings. Use windows explorer.
