HELLO, I can't restore my computer to an earlier date. Could you please help, I get this message Your system can't be resotered to 04.10.05. I have also tried different dates but no luck. I have heard you can also restore systems by going to Run and typing somthing there? Please help me. Thanks

Just some information- Using System Restore too many times can cause more harm than good. After doing a restore that does not fix a problem, then UNDO the Restoration, and try another restore point, or just do the UNDO. 1)Right click [My Computer] [Properties] then click on System Restore tab. 2)Put a check in the box for Disable Restore on all drives. 3)Click apply, then Reboot your PC 4)After the system reboots, navigate to the System Restore tab and turn it back on. Click apply. 5)Navigate to [System Tools] [Restore...] and choose [Create a Restore Point] 6)Provide a name for the new restore point. 7)Try and restore the new point just created.
