XP System Restore Points

If you want to print out all the restore points available in your computer without going into SR, you can create a VBS file following THIS procedure. I did it but I had to first tell my AV that it's not really a high-risk malicious script. This is really a very convenient way of knowing what you have in your PC.

Agreed :-) I believe the "creation time" refers to the time the particular point was created. My belief came from reading this article (just scroll down to the paragraph titled Restore point creation and storage.).

Works great. Now my question is being able to see them can you selectively remove them?
I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid...

Hi setishock, Glad to hear that. BTW I don't believe you can selectively remove SR points. All I know is that you can only retain the last one when you clean out the rest.

Hi guys. Seti- Yes you can. Go to system volume information folder, open the restore folder and delete to your hearts content. You may have to take ownership of the folder.
