XP system recovery

Am I going to loose all of my personal files if I use the system files recovery option (F10)?

If the computer isn't totally messed up, you may want to try system recovery to a time back a few days. Go to start > programs > accessories > system tools > system restore. I am not sure about F10, I have not tried it.
