XP swap file partition...good idea?

I have read that creating a separate partition for the Windows swap file helps improve performance. Is this true of Windows XP? And, how exactly is this done? Thank U.

Only if it's on a separate physical drive, and even then you'll probably see no noticable difference. XP does a very good job handling it on it's own so it's probably best to just leave it up to the OS.
