When I turn on the strip the pc boots up. I don't have to touch the pc at all. I would like to turn it on like I normally used to. Can anyone help?

Hi Thomas
The only way that your computer starts is the button is either stuck or defective. If the button was working correctly it would open the circuit and it wouldn't start.

Thank you I'll tell my Technician tonight. But it was working fine until he reset it.

Look in the BIOS under power management. There should be on option that tell the computer how to react after a power failure.
At the moment it is set to restart after power failure. Disable it.

Thanks for the responses but the switch is OK and the Bios thing didn't work either. I got disgusted with it and left it with the Technician. Tom
