An odd problem, hope someone may have a fix.
Windows XP SP2 connected to a Epson C4000 via IPP over a network, the print queue is showing a blank job in the queue, not named blank, but an icon with no details alongside it. The printers status is 'Paused' and when you try to delete the blank entry you get 'Error processing command'.
If you install the printer and pretend it's local on LPT1 it shows a nice empty print queue, only setting it up as an IPP printer shows the blank job???
The C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\PRINTERS folder which usually shows TMP spool job files is empty. If you send a test print to the printer, the TMP file appears in the folder and the job appears after the 'blank' job, but doesn't go any further.
Any suggestions please?

Tony Faiers, dunno if it'll help, probably can't hurt. Try unplugging/replugging the printer to give it a chance to 'clear it's head'. ???
HTH.
