XP SP3 - Install or not?

I searched the archives and the latest posts I found for XP SP3 are dated around May 2008. Most of them seemed to indicate that it was OK to install SP3.
Since my systems are now prompting me to install SP3, I figured I'd check to see if any issues have shown up since then.
Any reasons not to install SP3? (I'm already at SP2)

Most of the issues users have had when applying SP3 revolve around OEM PCs running AMD processors.
If your unit is custom built and is running a FULL version of WinXP you should be OK to go if you wish to. There are many opinions about the risk/benefit analysis of running SP3.
As with any update you should have full backups made in case of problems. That said, you should be backing up regularly as a matter of good computing practice.

Thanks.
The kids' computers first, an appropriate waiting period, then mine. :-)
If your computer H/w is best so you can easily install this service pack. Because in this service pack you get the new features of windows & updates it is also good for security purpose.
