XP SP2 slipstreaming problems

Comment:
After successfully slipstreaming and creating a bootable WinXPsp2 CD, the resulting windows XP OS "after installation" do not show the OS version 'either XP Home edition or proffesional' during the windows XP startup logo. I did it many times using Xp home edition and proffessinal, but I get the same result. Is there anybody who can help me?

Hi,
The install of SP2 takes that away. If you right click on My Computer and select Properties, you should see the version of XP you have installed.

M$ removed the original boot screens due to security reasons. If you want the original screens back--try getting a boot logo program and see if that helps.
