Any comments on why or shy not to upgrade. I do not want to start a war, just want a few heads up on some things that may suck, eg. privacy issues, bad bugs, new features that are highly overrated or misleading

There is a news item on the BBC web site that says some people have had problems, even Microsft themselves have delayed installing sp2 untill they can resolve the problems on business networks.

No probs here. I just installed the official SP2 last night. Been running SP2 release candidate since April without a glitch.

AMD Athlon XP 2700+
Asus A7V600-X
512 MB of DDR RAM
GeForce FX 5200 (256 MB)
Seagate 120 GB SATA
