xp sp2, file missing, nvata.sys

I switched motherboards, from a Gigabyte GA-7N400-L nforce2 to Asrock K7VM3 VIA KT266.
It boots fine, i uninstall the nforce drivers and it reboots fine. Then i install the VIA chipset and audio drivers for the asrock board, then on reboot, i get the follow error:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt" "System32\DRIVERS\nvatabus.sys"

i'm guessing the system still has some nvidia references, thanks for any help.
