Hi all!

This has been asked several time before in this forum - but I did not find an answer:

my ntvdm.exe loads the CPU with 99%
Some software needs ntvdm.exe for 'open file' others just call ntvdm.exe.

What is the solution for this? Yes, I can kill the ntvdm process, but thats not a solution, by doing this on all occations -

your answer is most welcome - Thanks in advance!

these links have more info and the second link has a removal tool. This may or may not be part of some type of spyware. Do a system restore point before changing it.

-> vidtek: Thanks for info

- The LIUtility just tell what ntvdm.exe are. I have known this ;-)

- Spyware found something, but nothing related to the ntvdm.exe process.

-> jam: Thanks for info.

- I am not using a DOS box and starting a DOS App. So this TAMEDOS can not help.

Still my system breakes down, because some apps call the ntvdm.exe and it hogs 99% of CPU time.

Anyone seen this before and found a solution please ?

greets
Wolfgang
