My PC was running great. Programs loaded quickly and games ran smoothly. However, after I installed Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter I started having problems. The game would just randomly crash on me and when it did my system started running really slow. I updated the game but it didn't help any with the crashes. I uninstalled it but the damage appears to have been done. My system is still running extremely slow. Sometimes it takes my pc 3 minutes to open 1 program! I ran scandisk, Norton WinDr, and Crap Cleaner to check my registery, programs and windows files. I ran 3 different virus scanners as well. I also ran CheckIT Diagnostics for all my hardware and everything turned up ok. I have no idea what could be causing my PC to run this slow. And yes I restarted my PC :) Any Suggestions?

Try a System Restore to a point before you installed the game. Good Luck...

I wouldn't bother with defrag, but I would run chkdsk /f.
