I Recently installed Windows XP.. After My computer started having problems.. I found out the problem & fixed it... I start a fresh install etc.. except the only problem is now it boots alot slower? is there a reason why? i can get taskmanager open to check it has a DLVD32 It has 4 of them all using 25% CPU? should there only be a need for one? Please let me know how i correct this problem

Hi Kevin!!!
I have winXP too and i have my task amnager open right now infront of me and i cant find any process by the name DLVD32.
Any way i had a problem too with the XP booting for more than 3 minutes and i found out that if you have any USB device connected (in my case it was a internet camera) it causing the system to boot very slow.
If you have any USB device just disconnect it and try reboot again and see if there is any diffrance.

try a small program called bootvis.
just goo to google.com and type bootvis download. it wil optimize your boot files
works fine on my comp athlon xp1700
boots in 28 seconds.

Okay Thank you Guys, I apperciate your help... I downloaded Bootvis and I am going to try it out now.. I also disconnected my USB Camera to see if that might help any...

To be specific on the CPU Usage its
DEVLDR32.EXE
For some reason i have 4 of them at boot up all leeching 25% CPU. I am Sure without these, i wouldn't have any problem it would boot like my other systems i have boot.

Aparently from what i have seen
DEVLDR32.EXE is a Application for my
Creative Live Value.. Sound Blaster Card..
If anyone else has this problem they now know that DEVLDR32.exe is your sound card.
