My problem is that my computer which is using Xp as its op system, closes its self down and restarts.
It would appear to be an intermitant fault, as it only appears to occur when I am on the internet. However it dose not happen every time. The error message reads as follows.***Stop: 0x0000008E (0XC0000005,0XBF8A6204,0XEE3C06E8,0X00000000)
WIN32K.SYS - Address BF8A6204,base at BF800000,DATESTAMP 3DB6D462
I think it may be a driver or hardware issue. Can anyone please give me some advice on this issue
Many Thanks
Richard

The probable cause of this problem is a malfunction of the systems remote access dialer and it requires a software expert to type 2 commands into command com in dos screen. the offending file is named rasautou.exe and must be disabled.
