When attempting to install Wndows XP over ME, I get an
0000007B stop error after the first reboot. This happens
at the point where setup looks at my Zip Drive, which is
installed on a SCUSI chain (properly installed, configured
and terminated).

The Knowledge Base seems to indicate that this is a known
problem with Zip Drives and suggests disconnecting the
drive and re-installing XP. If I do this however, I get
an 000000ED Unmountable Boot Volume stop error after the
first reboot.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

AMD Athlon 750MH
20Gig HDD
320MB RAM
Sis Motherboard etc

It´s very easy, try to install everything in a clean and formated first partition and you´ll get rid of all those problems.
