I did a clean install of XP Home SP2 on two laptops using CDs. The Thinkpad T23 works beautifully, but the Fujitsu's display is like rolling waves, almost jello-like when scrolling the browser (both IE and Firefox) or long documents.
When using PowerDVD for movie playing, the movement is like slow motion, and straight lines appear jagged. Someone on this forum in 2003 complained of the same problem, but now with SP2 what does my display still have the same symptoms? And why this problem with one pc and not the other with same OS? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

The fujitsu laptop has a graphics adapter that windows could only load basic vga drivers for. You need to use device manager, system information or dxdiag in the run box to find out what video adapter your laptop is running. Once you find out what video you are running you can then download the appropiate display/video driver and it should solve your problem.
When ever i format my desktop PC I get the exact same thing until I install nvidia display drivers.
