I had 2 GB of DDR2 in my Gigabyte P35 MoBo. I recently installed 4 more GB of matching DDR2. At boot up post time it reports:
"6290368K MEMORY"
Or 6GB as you'd expect. It also says 6GB in BIOS. But in Windows XP it only reports:
"3.25GB of RAM"
Where did the other half of the memory go? Does the fact that the MoBo has a Core 2 Duo processor installed half the memory for each core?
