Comment:

I recently installed Win XP Pro SP1 on my son's computer and created a static 1000 MB page file on "D" drive (the OS is on "C" drive). Could this be causing the computer to hang repeatedly? I don't have access to the compouter as my son has moved for the school year. Thaqnx for any input.

Actually, setting up ur paging file on a diff drive is normally advised.

But its better to let Windows manage the size itself rather than specify a size.

Hope this helps
