Specs: windows xp home sp2

SR ENDED ABNORMALY . Rebooted system and was unable to log on to windows - keyboards dont function to key in password. system rebooting is looped. Tried windows repair (WIndows XP home sp1 upgrade disc). Error message: ASMS file missing and admin password not known. Tried install and product key code is missing. Cancelled install - continuos loop to continue setup. I have sp3 disks ..

wow... hectic... if theres nothing on your drive that you dont
need you can try downloading a program called DBAN - it
completely wipes your Drive fresh. Then try installing
Windows XP... otherwise take your HDD out and plug into into
another working computer and copy your stuff over, then just
Format on the working PC after copying your files.

Start > Run > type in CMD and in cmd prompt type in
"FORMAT (Driver letter) [/FS:file-system] [/V:label] [/Q]

Example: Format c: /FS:NTFS /V:New_Drive /Q
