XP reformatting,,,just wondering

Just wondering...how would I reformat my hard drive and creat a new partition if I wanted to reinstall XP?

Just boot from the XP disk. It should ask you if you want to fix or install XP, and in which case just install it! It will ask you if you want to reformat, and just do what it tells you.

Yeah, I remembered that I reinstalled before but I don't remember asking me if I wanted to reformat. I didn't know back then so all it did for me was repair the WINDOWS folder. Nothing else happened. So I had to delete the WINDOWS folder itself and then it asked me if I wanted to make a new partition so I did and I got my computer the way I wanted.

Hmm... Interesting... It should have let you install it... Just go through it again, and make sure you go through it a couple times until you find where it can be reformatted.
