Hi all,

I'm currently trying to fix an error on an XP Home machine. From time to time I would get a message saying "The System has Recovered from a Serious Error". I check the Event Logs and the BCCodes that occur most often are 10000050, 1000008E and 100000D1.

Here are my PC specs:
Intel P4 2.4GHz
512MB DDR333
DFI PS83-BL
GeForce FX5200 VC
XP Home Ver 5.1.2600

Here's what I've already done to test the error:
1) Ensured that all drivers are 5.1.2600 or newer.
2) Updated all XP patches
3) Did adware scan using Adaware 6.0
4) Did virus scan with Norton 2004
5) Ran 3DMark 2003
6) Ran Prime95 for 16hrs

I don't know what else I can try. All hardware is on board (except the video card), cpu and ram seem to be ok...

Anyone have any pointers?

Yes i have 2 pieces of RAM. 2x256MB DDR 333. The RAM came with my machine which i bought 1/2 year ago. It only recently started to get these problems. Started about 2 months ago.

Thanks for your reply.
