2 seperate drives, Winxp (27gig) Linux (15gig)

Linux crashed and I went to restore it, all went good except winxp wasn;t on the boot menu. I booted with the xp cd and it told me c: was basically defunct, so I ran the repair councel and ran these commands.

fixboot
fixmbr
chkdsk

Fixboot said there was problems and fixed the errors, now I was able see the c: but it won't boot to XP, I see the xp loading screen but after that it reboots.

last known config doesn't work, all the safe modes don't work. and now when I ran the recovery councel from the xp cd it asked me for an administator password. I have never set one!

so any ideas? I don't care about the linux, I just need my XP back. I have all of my important info there.
