XP reboots just before login screen

I took my computer to school today and it worked fine all day. When i got home i hooked it up it would get to the xp loading screen and just before the login screen it would flash a blue screen of death for a fraction of a second, too fast to read, and then it reboots. Safe mode works just fine. I am stumped with this one. HELP PLEASE!

This won't solve your problem yet but will at least give you a chance to see the blue screen of death and perhaps have a clue.
When in Safe Mode, go into Start->Control Panel->Performance and Maintenance->System->Advanced->Startup and Recovery->Settings
Uncheck the option to automatically restart on error.
Hopefully you will be able to jot down the blue screen error details and have a friend google it for you.

Hmmm...sounds like maybe a faulty hard drive. Have you tried system restore or your restore disks? What version of Windows do you have?

While in safe-mode, click "start", "run", type: "sfc /scannow", have your installation CD handy. This will fix any corrupt system files. Also have you ran a virus scan. Also are you familiar with "system restore". This link will explain it. http://www.rlrouse.com/system-restore.html
