Xp professional does not connect do

i am using windows Xp professional and it is not letting me to connect to my winNt domain with my userid password and domain name it is saying that acces is denied. But when i logged on with my user id password and domain name from windows98 then i can connect.please help

I got same problems !
I solved this using a old known lancard (3com 3C905-TX PCI) !
Drivers for low cost lancards are not reliable with XP (especially with Realtek cards (GVC 10/100 PCI, PEABIRD Cards ,etc.) What lancard/driver have you ? Tell me by mail
