Xp professional does not connect do

I am using win xp professional and it is not allowing me to connect my network domain i have tried alot but still i am having such problems it says acces is denied what should i do help

Check with your network administrator you might have been locked out or you might not have permision to join that domian. Hope this helps.

if it is an NT domain you may have to create a machine account on the PDC FIRST. especially IF you do not have admin rights on the NW (or the user id/password) that you are using to join doesn't have permissions to do this as it is a specific permission on NT.

My xp professional operating system on client machine is not letting me to connect with my network NT domain. It is giving error message that acces is denied when i try to give it the domains name user name and password. But when i am using win 98 then i can connect to domain with the givin user name and password by the network administrator. When xp boots how will i get the user id and password window to connect to the domain.
