XP PRO often freezes !!!

XP freezes from time to time : the ONLY solution is to reboot... Any idea, someone ?
Celeron 600, BE6 II, HDD on ATA 33. Modem USB ADSL, TNT 64, Sound Theater XP.

R u at 128mgs or above if not go into visual effects and choose let windows choose what's best for my computer.. also turn FUS off.

Hi Jaco, Two things you need to do if you want the XP to work well.
1. Increase your RAM to a minimum of 192MB.
2. Flash update your BIOS.

The best thing to do is to install Win XP (or any OS) from a clean, empty hard drive ideally using CD-ROM boot if your bios supports it.

I suffer from similar problem ...XP Pro on a 600 Celeron e-machine, loads of RAM (256Mb)but programs freeze a LOT - IE6, PalTalk,Eudora, etc, in that order. Was a clean install; not sure what FUS is; Soemone tell us what probs flash updating Bios would solve...
Any suggestions?

I have had the same problems, I tried my 5th install last night and it froze during the install. I was freezing during burns, playing games, and downloading from winmx. The only option was to reboot.
