Will upgread XP pro cd keys work on full version cds?
I have a full version XP por CD. If i want to install XP pro on other computers can i just buy upgrade cds and use their keys along with the full xp cd?

If you are buying many copies of Xp to install on other computers. Such as computer shop or your building a computer lab.
You can purchase multiple licenses and a few cd at a discounted price.. There might be a minimium.
Junk Internet Explorer, Get Firefox! You'll be happy you did.

The only difference betweeen the upgrade and full version of XP is that the upgrade version will do a check for a qualifying version of a previous OS. But, that OS does not need to be installed. You can use the upgrade version to do a clean install. When prompted, just insert a Win98/ME CD for verification and then the install will continue.

no, its for my home i have about 5-7 computer that i want to have Xp pro running but i dont want to shell out the full 150+ for a full version of windows XP. I was thinking that i could buy one full version and a few upgread ones but just use the upgrades keys.
