I burned some files on a cd with 98se and when I put the cd's in my updated computer with xp pro it doesn't see any of the files. I know 98se was a fat system and this xp pro is ntfs. What can I do if anything to make this new updated system see files/programs on my cd?

As 98SE doesn't have CD writing built in you must have been using some software to write these files (Nero, Easy CD Creator etc).
Install this software in XP (don't forget to install any updates) and you will get access to the files again (as long as XP hasn't made coasters out of them!).

That didn't work. I installed Sony Extreme which is the program used to originally burn the cd's. It still shows only 1 file and there are about 12 files. If I take the cd down to an older computer with 98se, the files will be shown.
