I have an EPSON Stylus 440 Colour printer and need the new driver for it to comply with XP. I found drivers through driverguide.com but it lists it for Windows 2000. Is XP considered Windows 2000? ie can I download those drivers and install them and it will work on my XP?

I've now realized 2000 isn't XP so the answer is no. Please check the page: http://support.epson.com/webadvice/wa0303.html Does the Q&A: Question: What Epson printers are automatically supported in Microsoft's new Operating System, Windows XP?
Answer: Windows XP has built-in support for the following Epson Printer Products: (my computer is listed in the table answer) that I can go into my driver settings and tell it to detect or reinstall printer driver and it should work? If so can you please tell me the steps I need to do so.
Thanx

With the printer connected to the computer and turned on the printer should be found when you power up your system.Windows should then install the driver. If not go to the control panel, choose the printers and other hardware category then choose add a printer and follow the instructions.
