I deleted a whole bunch of stuff on my hard drive, about 5 gigs or more but my hard drive's free space doesnt show a change at all! I'm sure I emptied the recycle bin and i did a disk clean up but, but i think its when i reinstalled the OS but not a format that screwed it all up, Why wont it get more free space?

Is norton installed? That could be holding it up. Also system restore might have made a restore point
