I'm right now trying XP home on my laptop but think it's a bit slow. Had Me earlier.
What about w2k? Is that better then xp? Any coments on that?

I think w2k is better........you can buy one copy and put it on any computer in your house. If you change your hardware you dont have to reregister it. Its just as stable as XP without all the hassle.

If you do buy one copy and put it on every computer in your house you are breaking the law. So while technically you can, it is illegal to do so.

I've found XP to be a lot nicer, more stable, boots much faster, better compatibility, etc. If it is slow on your laptop switch to the classic theme, then go to Services and disable the themes service, as well as CD Burning and anything else there you don't need.

Yeah i think he was getting mixed up with busineses they do have 2 pay 4 it 2 be installed on different computers but certainly not at home
